KIDS DISCOUNT
• Infants under the age of 4 who do not occupy a bed / aircraft type seat pay only €5.50 per passage. Infants under the age of 4 who occupy a bed / aircraft type seat pay 50% of the selected adult fare. There is a 50% discount on fares for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children traveling in cabins must be accompanied by a full-fare paying adult. |

HYBRID & ELECTRIC CARS
A copy of the vehicle’s registration card must be provided when making a reservation for a hybrid / electric car. In addition the original registration card must be shown at the check-in desk on the day of departure. |

FUEL SURCHARGE
In response to the soaring fuel prices Blue Star Ferries implements a fuel surcharge of €5.00 per way,
per passenger (excluding infants) and per vehicle. Due to the continuing fluctuations in the price of fuel,
Blue Star Ferries will review the surcharge on a regular basis with a view to adjusting it when appropriate.

Camping on Board (valid 1st April – 31st October)
You can spend the entire crossing from Italy to Greece and vise versa in the comfort of your own camper/caravan, while taking advantage of
our board showers, WC, and 220 Volt power outlets. All for the price of a DECK and VEHICLE fare.
Train and Ferry
Blue Star Ferries participates as a full member on the following railway offers / cards:
Inter Rail, Eurail, Euro Domino, BIJ, BIGT, Rail Plus, Train N’ Ferry, Balkan Flexipass, Greek Flexipass, Greek Flexipass Rail N’ Fly, Vergina Flexipass, DB Autozug tickets and ScanRail.
Holders of the above railway offers / cards may travel with Blue Star Ferries in DECK, paying only port dues. Accommodation upgrades can be arranged by the port offices or the chief Purser on board.

The reception desk personnel is 24 hours available for your information and service. At the reception Bureau you can be informed about the loyalty program of Blue Star Ferries concerning both passengers who travel with us frequently (Travel Club) and professional drivers (Super Club). Travel information is available at our board info kiosks. At the reception you may also find an exchange Bureau.
- Telecommunication & Internet :
Coin-operated telephones via satellite are available on board. Moreover, do not miss the opportunity of an on board Internet connection. Simply purchase your Internet card at all bars on board.
- Storage Facilities :
We offer storage facilities in our refrigerator or deep freezer for special items. Money or valuables can be handed in at the ship's Purser's Office for safekeeping at owner's risk.
- Pet Accommodation :
Special cabins for pet accommodation as well as special kennels (on Deck 10) are provided for the maximum comfort of your beloved pet. For health reasons, pets are not allowed in cabins (other than the special assigned ones), bars, restaurants and in all indoor areas of the ship. Owners are responsible for the care, safety and hygiene of their pets and must observe all laws and regulations related to the above. There is a special area available for your pet's daily hygiene.
- Medical Services :
On Blue Star Ferries we have all medicines according to the laws of SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) and the rules of IMO (International Maritime Organization). There is also an infirmary, a cabin with 3 beds for rest and care. We also offer medical care through CARDIO - EXPRESS 24 hrs a day.
- Lost and Found Service :
Please, report the loss of any personal item to the Reception Desk on board during the voyage or to the Head Office (Customer Service Dept., tel.: +30 210 8919010) after disembarkation.
- Currency Exchange :
The accepted currency on board is EURO. A Currency Exchange bureau is located at the Reception area for your convenience. Our shops accept all major credit cards. On board the vessel there is an ATM.

Embarkation / Maps
Back to topBoarding passes and cabin keys are issued during check-in, which is mandatory and begins at 10:00 a.m.
You can check-in at central port agencies as well as at Blue Star Ferries booths located at the main port entrance in Patras and lgoumenitsa and at the Stazione Marittima in Bari (as indicated in the map below).
Following check-in, you are required to drive your vehicle to the parking area outside the vessel. Boarding starts two (2) hours prior to scheduled departure. All passengers - with or without vehicles - are required to report to the embarkation gates at least two (2) hours prior to scheduled departure time. Passengers with campers are required to report three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure. Please note that check-in closes twenty (20) minutes prior to scheduled departure. (For further information, please refer to General Conditions & Information).
For your convenience, we provide shuttle-bus service at the ports of Patras and Bari to and from designated Blue Star Ferries pickup points and our ships.

The coaches depart shortly after the ferry arrives in Patras.
Tickets to Athens or Piraeus can be bought from the bars and restaurants on board our ferries.
